Accommodation at the One & Only Kanuhura Island resort

All villas and suites are built from natural materials and dressed with tasteful solid timber furniture. The resort features 100 beautifully appointed Beach Villas, Water Villas and Suites. They are all air conditioned with private ocean facing verandas, a four poster king size bed, an open air sunken bath and glorious outdoor shower, TV, VCD player, mini bar, safe, IDD telephone and internet connection.

The very stylish and comfortable Beach Villas are gracefully set along the shore of this luxury hideaway. The bedroom looks out over the azure ocean, and is dressed with cool cotton. There is a dressing room and a spacious open air bathroom that has a wonderfully stone bath and outdoor shower. Wooden decking leads out to a private stretch of beach, with a thatched sun shade and two chic wood sun beds. Privacy is provided by lush tropical plants and palms.

There are also five Duplex Beach Villas which are two Beach Villas joined together. They are ideal for wedding parties and large families, and there is also a wonderful private garden.

There are two outstanding Grand Beach Villas with teak wooden floors throughout, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, and dressed with very beautiful furniture and fabrics. Each Villa has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with two single beds. There are two spacious bathrooms with a whirlpool bath and outdoor shower area. There is also a living area with a dining table and kitchenette for in-villa private dining, they also have an extensive beachfront and wooden veranda. This is a home away from home and is ideal for wedding parties and larger families who are seeking total seclusion and privacy.

These serene and pristine villas are the perfect aquatic playground for lovers. Built over the blue lagoon they enjoy the most idyllic location embracing the crystal clear waters. There is a generous private sundeck for bathing, relaxing and private dining. The king size bed has a very grand view of the ocean, and has all the peacefulness of a private sanctuary. The bathroom is very chic and has an oriental flavour, with double sinks, a stone soak tub made for two, and a jet pool to energise the body. The open air shower is very luxurious and finished with stone.

Every meal time provides you with an excellent choice of restaurants and bars, and you will simply love the cuisine.

The Thin Rah is the main restaurant at One & Only Kanuhura, and offers amazing buffets with fabulous open cooking stations, where the Master Chefs prepare themed cuisines and individual dishes to delight your pallet. Made with the freshest fish and seafood, combined to create fusion dishes, sushi, sashimi, and exotic fresh salads. There is also a wonderful selection of homemade ice creams to tempt your taste buds too.

The Olive Tree restaurant has a very contemporary setting and serves a la carte Mediterranean dishes and also features an open pizza oven. Here the specialties are fresh pastas, salads and a mouth-watering selection of freshly caught grilled seafood and mouth watering steaks. ‘Cuisines of the sun’ inspired by the flavours of the Mediterranean are offered for lunch. This restaurant has a wonderfully intimate atmosphere whatever the time of day, and in the evening you can enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner and watch the sunset fade into a million and one glittering stars.

Veli Café calls to you with its crisp white linen table cloths that are shaded by Frangipani trees. Nestled on the shore of the Indian Ocean, this romantic setting offers an extensive choice of carefully selected wines that will make the perfect accompaniment to the fresh seafood that is skilfully fused with spices, pickles and sauces to form some of the most delectable Thai cuisine you will ever taste.
