Kurumba Accommodation

With 180 stunning bungalows and villas sprinkled throughout the island and set within lush foliage just steps from the beach, you will have every luxury amenity you could wish for. Style and space work in harmony to create a serene natural feel that is complemented by polished wooden floors, lofty wooden ceilings and antique inspired furniture. There is a fabulous walk-in dressing room and the bathroom is extravagantly finished with sandstone tiles, a marble-sided bath, and stylish open air private shower. Each bedroom is equipped with a safe, private mini bar, tea / coffee making facilities, satellite TV, and internet connection.

Superior Rooms
These beautifully appointed spacious rooms are accommodated in a two story setting. The bedroom is delightfully airy and the graceful colonial style rooms are beautiful. The bedroom leads out to a private beach balcony (first floor) or terrace (ground floor). Also off the bedroom is a bright and spacious bathroom which is partly open to the sky, wonderful shower, twin sinks, and a free standing bath.

Deluxe Rooms
These cozy intimate rooms set on the edge of the beach, offer peace and seclusion with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. They have a charming bedroom and a gorgeous partially open air bathroom and free standing bath, open air shower and pretty private garden.

Deluxe Bungalows
These bungalows have amazing views of the Indian Ocean that can be enjoyed from the beachfront day bed and seating area. The bedroom has a glorious king size four poster bed with stunning views of the beach and ocean beyond. There is also a dressing room with walk-in wardrobe, a luxurious bathroom with double sinks, glass walled shower, free-standing bathtub, and an open air shower set in the tropical garden.

Garden Villas
Spacious and tranquil the Garden Villas look out over beautifully manicured gardens, and have a private patio at the front. The bedroom is spacious with an elegant king size bed, adjoining sitting room and private verandah. The bathroom has a glass walled shower, marble bath tub and an open courtyard complete with Rain Shower under a traditional thatched pavilion.

Private Villas
With these outstanding villas you have a choice of either a Beach Front or Garden Front view. The bedroom has a very romantic king size four poster bed, and an adjoining sitting room that leads out onto the verandah. The bathroom has a glass walled shower, marble bath tub and an open courtyard complete with Rain Shower that is under a traditional thatched pavilion.

Pool Villas
Very enchanting accommodation with a gorgeous bedroom and magical four poster king size bed, and sitting room that leads out to a verandah. The private swimming pool is luxury itself and they even have a private Jacuzzi set in a garden of flowers and therapeutic stones. There is also tranquil waterfall, open air shower and a relaxing private daybed made for two that is set under a thatched roof pavilion. The villas private courtyard has an exclusive entrance from the beach or through the villa's bathroom.

Dining At Kurumba

Kurumba has several wonderful restaurants that serve the most amazing cuisine, from Indian, Chinese, Mexican through to Lebanese and Italian, the choice is endless!

Vihamana is the main restaurant on Kurumba, and it offers delightful gourmet buffets for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. There is a theme buffet every night the restaurant with Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Lebanese, and Italian dishes to name but a few. The Ocean Grill has a wonderful over-water deck with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. They serve prime cuts of beef, fresh lobster and lavish seafood dishes accompanied by a wonderful selection of fine wines. The Hamakaze is the Sushi Bar and Teppen, serve a unique style of Japanese cuisine; dishes created with Octopus, Tuna, Salmon, Eel and much more besides. There is also an amazing selection of Sushi and Sahsimi. You can sip on sake while the Chef creates a culinary delight for your plate.

Savour mystical gourmet delights from the Middle East. At the very grand Al Qasr restaurant they serves traditional Lebanese specialities, charcoal grilled meats, succulent kebabs, and a variety of tasty dips and pastes. The Kurumba Mahal creates cuisine fit for royalty, with heavenly tandoori and curries dishes, and luscious desserts fit for a Maharaja! The very elegant Golden Cowrie serves the finest Italian cuisine in a wonderfully classical setting. They have an amazing variety of pastas and risottos matched with sensuous, full bodied Italian wines and beautiful deserts.

Laidback and relaxed the Neptune Coffee Shop offers all day dining, and serves international favourites and light snacks. It is the perfect place to grab a quick snack any time of day.

Kurumba Facilities

And Kurumba offers plenty of opportunities to build an appetite, with scuba diving around the lively house reefs, sailing, tennis, fitness and many other land and watersports to choose from, along with a selection of excursions, including sea-fishing and island hopping.
